DDF Protective Eye Cream SPF 15 Review

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Price:$46.00 DDF Protective Eye Cream .5 oz. (plus shipping)

Guarantee: The time is not specified, but gives refund if the return falls under the given guidelines.

Most effective for:

  • Puffiness and dark cirlces
  • Sensitive skin
  • Day Cream
  • Light odor
  • Sun protection

Other factors to consider:

  • Not good for those with dry skin
  • Dries up easily
  • Expensive
  • Unclear guarantee

Description:An excellent eye cream for those who have sensitive skin. Its effective ingredients minimize the puffiness and dark circles. It also firms the skin making your eyes younger. There are no evident smells, just a very light odor.

For those who have extra dry skin, this eye cream may prove to be too light and reapplication may be necessary. In this case, it tends to dry up in the middle of the day and lose its effects.

It’s a good day cream, I also like it because of the sun protection, however its quite expensive and the guarantee is quite vague.

Directions for Use: Apply once a day, generously and evenly to all eye areas. Allow 15-30 minutes of rest before sun exposure for maximum absorption. Reapply when necessary.

Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Cetyl Peg-Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Hexyl Laurate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Neopentyl Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Boron Nitride, Beeswax, Glycerin, Ppg-12/Smdi Copolymer, Squalane, Sodium Chloride, Cetyl Lactate, Phenoxyethanol, Isoprpylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Butylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Vegetable Oil, Diisopropyl Dimer Diinoleate, Tocopherol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Oryzanol, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Tagetes Erecta Flower Extract, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ubiquinone, Zinc Gluconate, Genistein.

Sunscreen: SPF 15

Recommendation: For average skin, buy, for those with drier skin though, not the right product for you.

Obagi Nu-Derm Eye Cream Review

I totally agree with this review on Obagi Nu-Derm Eye Cream Review. It's one of the best eye creams I've already tried, and if not for my natural instinct to stray and look for something better, I would have stuck with this one.

Most effective for:

* Great for dark circles
* Reduces fine lines
* Plumps up area round the eyes making it look healthier
* Lasts a long time
* Good texture

It really does plump the eyes, not on a puffy kind of way, but rather, in the sense that moisture seeps in your skin, making it look healthier and younger. And yes, 35 dollars a tube from Amazon, it really does last a long time. Not like other eye creams wherein you have to cover your entire finger to fully moisturize your eye area. It really is pretty good. Definitely a recommended buy.

My Youthtopia Skin Firming Cream with Rhodiola and Skin Firming Lotion with Rhodiola Experience

I am a true believer of word of mouth. When someone I know refers an eye cream which she claims to be very effective, with very visible results on my end, I would definitely shell out some dollars to give it a try. This is how my Youthtopia Skin Firming Cream adventure started. It was referred to me by a friend. She said, she and her friend have been using it for 2 months now, and have been very pleased with the results. I saw them first hand and I was really amazed.

When I got home after buying my tub, I was so excited, and put it on before going to sleep, right after my cleansing and toning. I continued doing this for a while, and believe me, trying to stop myself from writing this review right away took a lot of strength. I saw the solid changes after a month of religiously using this eye cream.

I noticed my eye bags disappear, which is one of the things I really look for in an eye cream. I don’t have any eye wrinkles yet, but another problem of mine are also dark circles in the eyes. It’s what I see everyday, and what I majorly cover with concealer. I was ecstatic when I found that they were almost invisible around my eyes!

If there is something I don’t like about this cream, it’s the smell. It’s weird, more like medicine than a beauty product. But performance-wise, really great!

Wrinkles and Sun Exposure

As you age, your skin looses its elasticity and becomes frail. It produces less natural oils and your skin becomes dry therefore you are more prone to wrinkles. Early appearance of wrinkles on the other hand is a factor which can be prevented using the right methods.

Too much exposure to the sun will give you a great tan – for the mean time, but it will take its toll on your skin in the form of premature wrinkling. The sun’s rays breakdown the collagen and elastin fibers underneath your skin so it loses its strength and flexibility. The results are wrinkles and sagging skin.

Smoking and other unhealthy habits can greatly contribute to wrinkling and other damages to the skin and body. Smoking causes change in the blood supply in the skin and speeds the natural aging process of the body. Alcohol and unhealthy diet on the other hand creates free radicals in your body resulting to cell damage and since unhealthy habits doesn’t provide the necessary repairing nutrients, the damaged cells cannot regenerate and eventually add up as a wrinkle to your young skin.

Avoid premature wrinkles

Want to really avoid wrinkles? Smile. Yes, we do have some smile lines, but aside from the eyes, I believe a smile is the best weapon to looking old. I was reminded of this because I got a visit from my cousin just now. She’s not the happy type so to speak, and my god, she looks like my aunt.

I just wanted to share this, and of course, share a reason for everyone to smile. Smile, smile, smile, or grow old. You choose.

Three keys to Wrinkle Elimination

Yes oh yes, at one angle, beauty might be expensive, as I read in another wrinkle cream review, but its all about knowing how much exactly does your skin need, and the ways of getting those results.

The key to no wrinkles is avoiding them. Problem is, we are never aware of the means to avoid them unless they have already made their mark across our faces. Thus, avoidance is already out of the selection. Next would be damage control. Don’t worsen the situation by continuing habits which are damaging to the skin. Drink lots of water, and get enough rest.

The third key, yes there is a third, would be eye cream. Ages is very easy to identify through the eyes and the skin area around it, and it is exactly that area that ages a lot faster. If you were to invest hundreds of dollars, see to it that eye cream is on top of the list. Maybe you can settle for the average cleansing products, but invest on a good eye cream, that’s definitely worth the price, and the years off your face.

The First Goodbye to Wrinkles

Wrinkles, fine line, signs of wisdom, age marks, call it whatever you want, but wrinkles is an inevitable part of life. The come out as we age, and multiply as we age more. Not being able to avoid it doesn’t mean not being able to stall, or erase some them.

There are numerous wrinkle creams in the market, there are even a lot of wrinkle-fighting ingredients in the kitchen. A bit of those, a bunch of these, and a better lifestyle later, you should notice better skin, and wave goodbye to those wrinkles that feel like they’ve been on your face forever.
